Welcome to the seaside city of Paralia, where magic and whimsy are commonplace and not even the sky is your limit! Boats & Birds is a slice of life roleplaying site drawing influence from various Ghibli productions, particularly the movies Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Ponyo. With no immediate plot, we are mostly driven by individual character plots and put our focus on character development and a lax environment. May you enjoy your stay, however long or brief, at B&B.

FEBRUARY FOURTH Not much to addhere, just a brief update specifying general life expectancy and an extra bit on how Quenya... work. Hop by the races thread and read up on the changes.

FEBRUARY FOURTH Nothing much to update, really, aside from the fact that we, Boats & Birds, are now open! 8D Get excited! It only took forever and a day to get this going. .__. Regardless, we've just opened our doors and – if you're reading this – have probably started advertising like mad to get the word out. ~~Hello, by the way, do enjoy your stay.~~ We'll see where things go over the course of the next week – if changes need to be made and/or are made, we'll let you know here~! Until then, get to chattin' in the chat, get to makin' those characters, and above all, have fun!

There is, sadly, no massive in character event – or a giveaway, for that matter – to mark the beginning of our quaint little site here. Events that will transpire in the future, however, will go here as they come. Keep a watchful eye out for them, hm?

Boats and Birds is the product of Orange and Pharaoh Leap's combined effort, the initially idea sparked by the former and both working to carry it to completion. Inspiration for the site setting, character races, and other such factors was drawn from Studio Ghibli with varying severity. The current skin was created by Pharaoh Leap, while staff icons in the banner were created by Jea. Any and all written site content belongs to the members who initially wrote them, and stealing will not be tolerated. Thank you for your time.

Please note that we will not review your app until you give us this okay here, so don't reply until you're one-hundred percent completed or forget to reply once you've hit that hundred percent.
